Letter from Hajib Khanum. It reads in part: "My dearest, I have received the letter you sent me, which made my day. I will write about selling the household furniture and the carpet to A[qa] Husayn and will explain it in detail. I have said again and again that I prefer you to everyone else, and if you give that five tumans or I give it to you it's still ours. But I insist that you take more or less 10 tumans from the price of furniture in order to stop rumors. You wrote that the twenty five tumans is ready. It will be twenty five tumans because we need to pay deposit for a house in order...

‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk to Surur al-Saltanah
‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash) writes to Surur al-Saltanah of how troubled he has been from the tone of Surur al-Saltanah's letter, talks about the problem of finding a house in Tehran, and that his delay is due to his intention to find the best place for Surur al-Saltanah. He mentions a possibility of renting the house of Mubashshir al-Dawlah. He also talks about the belief that some have about the Rabi‘ al-Avval ritual.

Sale agreement and settlement, 1902 and 1910
Agreement dated December 11, 1902 between Sakinah, daughter of the late Karbalayi Husayn Muqanni [well-digger] and wife of the late Darvish Husayn, and Darvish Ghulam Riza, son of the late Darvish Muhammad Husayn, selling parts of a building in the Aqa [or Aba] neighborhood for twelve tumans, and a settlement dated August 10, 1910 between Sakinah and her son, Darvish Husayn, exchanging all of her belongings, except her clothes, which belong to her daughter, for one hundred dinars and one charik of wheat.

Power of attorney given to Mirza Zayn al-‘Abidin, son of Haji Muhammad Hasan from Shiraz, by Haji Muhammad Karim Tabbakh-i Dast-furush [the street-vendor cook] from Shiraz (son of the late Haji Muhammad Sadiq from Shiraz), who is the guardian of the underage son of the late Mashhadi Ghulam Husayn and Hajiyah Bibi (daughter of the late Karbalayi Muhammad) to last for one year from the time of this contract in order to get the child's paternal inheritance, which has been kept by Shaykh ‘Abd al-Majid Maktab-dar. Draft of the letter written by Mirza Zayn al-‘Abidin, the attorney of Khanum Muhtaram, to the Justice Department of Fars about the evacuation of a room in a house located in Bazar-i Murgh neighborhood usurped by Zahra Baygum. She has also occupied some of the other rooms of that house with all the furniture without the owner's permission.
